The Blount Journal is a semi-annual publication of the Society and members receive both issues each year for which dues are paid. Members are entitled to one free query per issue and are encouraged to submit sourced material for publication, including articles and pictures.
Submission deadlines for articles are January 31 for the Spring issue and July 31 for the Fall issue. Please contact the editorial staff for information regarding the font style and size used in the Journal.
Articles may be transmitted electronically to the Society’s email
address, BCGHS@yahoo.com. Writing "Attention: Editorial Staff" in the subject line will insure the correct person receives your submission.
The
Society and/or its members have written, compiled and/or published several books which we offer
for sale, a list of which may be found at Books for Sale.
We also offer back issues of The Blount Journal for sale. A few of our most popular issues are out of print, but photocopies can be purchased. Please click on Back Issues for Sale for a complete list of available issues with a short description of the articles in each issue.
