A-F surname folders at BC Public Library

Society members are working diligently to clean up family surname folders found at the Blount County Public Library. A digital inventory is being posted to the BCGHS Forum as the work is being completed. The estimated completion date for this project is December 31, 2023.

It has been a 5-year project due to some delays during COVID and the volunteers' surgeries. Entire index of surnames will be posted when the final folder has been cleaned up and ready for research. Since this index was compiled over an extended period of time, the number of pages and total inventory will likely have a lower number of pages than the actual count available today.
