New option to document search requests

Our volunteer members of the Blount County Genealogical and Historical Society have offered document searches for family researchers since its inception. The Society is happy to announce that we now have an online, automated version to serve as an additional option to printing the search request and mailing the request to our office.

The information required on your part is still the same as what is requested on the print/mail version and the fee is still $20.00/one hour's time. The difference is that now a Google Form can be completed for your request. Upon submission, this Google Form notifies members of the BCGHS. A member will reach out you via email to let you know plans for your search will be initiated during Society office hours. Once our search is completed, we will notify you of our findings made so that arrangements for your payment (via a link to our online store) can be made on PayPal or by credit card.
